Recently, E! Online web site mentioned Sign Babies as one of the popular sites for infant sign language information. We are greatful for the wonderful coverage.
Here is the text:
"We're not talking about reading to the little tykes. Who has time for
that? Consider something more offbeat, like sign language. The fact
that her new son, Roman, was only 10 months old didn't stop Will &
Grace's Debra Messing from introducing him to signing.
Contact Music reports Messing started teaching Roman basic signing
because she "just thought it was interesting." And apparently, given
Messing's satisfaction, the popularity of sites like signbabies.com
and the role of baby signing in Meet the Fockers--it works.
Roman's favorite new word? Milk, natch: "I also thought it was sort
of neat that there's sort of this discretion, that he could be
across the room and [sign 'milk'] to me, and I could know exactly
what he wants instead of me [lifting up my top and] going, 'You want
some?' "

| A woman was saved by her daughter’s ability to use sign language. She began to choke and called 911, but could not talk to the dispatch. Her 3 year-old daughter was there. She signed HELP to her daughter and her daughter told the dispatch that her mother needed help. So, you never know how signing can help your family.
